A: Yes of course, this is what I want all my customers to do; it makes my job a lot easier. Better still come to my workshop and pick the wood yourself.
Q: Can I come and try out some cues?
A: No sorry, I don’t hold stock. All the cues that I make are tailor made to your specification. But once made, if you want to try it out, by all means I’m always up for a game of pool on my table.
Q: How long will it take to make my cue?
A: Depending on how busy I am, usually about 2 weeks, but if making from scratch then it could be 6 to 8 weeks. Please ask when ordering, and I’ll tell you if I can have it ready quicker for you.
Q: Can I send back my cue if I don’t like It.?
A: Absolutely, if you are unhappy with your cue in any way, I will sort it out for you. But it hasn’t happened to me yet. Cues made for personal specification, will not be liable for a refund under any circumstances. They are made to your specifications.
Q: Can I phone up and pay by credit card?
A: No. I do not have facility to accept payment over the phone. It is safer to use an online shopping cart backed by a secure and encrypted service.
Q: Can I pay by PayPal?
A: Yes. I can receive payment this way, please phone me to arrange payment this way.
Q: Can I pay by Bank Transfer?
A: Yes. Details will be sent once an order is received.
Q: Can I pay a deposit and the rest when cue is ready?
A: Yes, but please call me to arrange deposit amount. There will be a minimum charge of £50.
Q: Do you think it’s better to try out a cue first rather than just order one?
A: Yes if you don’t have a cue already, but most people I deal with, bring their old cue, and say, I’ve had this cue for years it’s a bit tatty and worn, can you match this cue in weight, length and tip size.
